Snowpoppy's delicate sounding name is well deserved, her delicate flower of a name contrasts her personality perfectly; as she could be described as a delicate, innocent, and beautiful she-cat. Her emotions are on display at all times for those around her to see, and she often lets them get the better of her. Driven by her heart, rather than her head. She's dainty, very well suited for that of her medicine cat position than that of a warrior; however, she's striving to prove that she can be a noble and powerful warrior and defend herself. She wants to prove herself to the parents who were never there.

She's a little nervous at times, not knowing what to say and not knowing what to interject into certain situations. She prefers to remain passive, often cowering under the more senior warriors to herself and allowing them to sort everything out. After all, they probably know better than her, right? She's often scared to speak her own opinion, scared that someone will snap at her or call her opinion stupid.

Her weaknesses, well, she's a little too trusting. She believes that all warriors and other cats are good at heart and that they would never intentionally do anything to critically harm or wound another cat. This is wishful thinking, considering that clan wars and deputes over territory can often lead to the deaths of those around her, but she still stands true to her trust. As such, she has a friendly disposition, especially to those in clans besides her own. She's kind, helpful, and will go out of her way to help others. Her view is to always put others before herself, as that is the warrior way.

She's friendly to her clan mates, going out of her way to help the elders and often seeing if anyone else needs help with their duties. She tries to stay on the leader's good side, as she hopes when more young kits arrive that one of them could be an apprentice for her.

Background

Snowpoppy's life began suddenly, and without warning. Her father, an unknown tom, presumably from another clan; and her mother, a lovely silver she-cat who prided herself in her appearance and fell pregnant after a brief fling with this tom. She was heartbroken, and when it came time for her to bear her kits; she gave birth to just a single kit. Who she walked out on immediately after kitting.

Where did she go? Presumably off to the clan her mate was in, but it's been said she was so angry at falling pregnant and breaking the warrior code that she left and became a loner. Her newborn daughter was pushed in with the rest of another litter and allowed to nurse from another queen who had recently given birth. The queen, Dapplenose, adopted Snowpoppy (then Snowkit) as one of her own and she was raised with her own kits.

Kit

Snowkit was a playful young kit, she adored her foster siblings and her assumed mother. She often spoke about what would happen when she became an apprentice and talked in length about how great it was going to be to be a warrior. Her 'siblings' were equally as enthusiastic, often play fighting with the young she-cat and tugging at her tail. After all, she was the only female in their 'litter' as far as her foster siblings knew. She was meek and rarely got into trouble (unless it was getting an ear-ful from the elders for annoying them).

She was told from a young age that her real mother had left and it was unknown where she was. But this did not deter the young cat, it actually made her stronger in the long run.

Apprentice

Snowkit became Snowpaw, and although her mentor was relaxed and laid back the thought of being a warrior; now being able to see what exactly happened first hand, terrified her. The violence that she witnessed made her shake, and made her mentor question if she was actually cut out to be a warrior.

Her mentor, worried about her progress brought up to the clan leader that maybe her training should be pushed back or maybe she would be better suited to be a medicine cat apprentice. The leader expressed disdain at this option, believing that the young she-cat just needed more training and it was just early jitters. Snowpaw's mentor, Blacktail, however, believed that this was a bad idea. Snowpaw was then sent towards Echosong, the then medicine cat of RiverClan.

She adjusted much better to being a Medicine Cat, diligent in her duties and compassionate with all the Warriors around her. Echosong felt as though she'd be a great and noble medicine cat when her time came.

Medicine Cat

Within a few moons of being a full medicine cat, Echosong unfortunately passed away. It was an odd incident, on a patrol towards ShadowClan because she needed more herbs. According to a fellow young warrior, Echosong had simply fallen through the ice around ShadowClan territory and had gotten stuck below. Snowpoppy doubts this, as her mentor was a fine and very strong swimmer. However... she does know that her mentor sympathsized with Flowerstar, and the unrest was steadily growing in the clan to possibly replace her. Snowpoppy has decided that it's probably wise to keep her mouth shut about the whole ordeal... or she may be the next "accident".
