01. PLEASE READ EVERYTHING IN THE BEGINNING SECTION Before you ask myself, or any other staff members questions, please acquaint yourself with all threads on this board. It was made specifically to introduce you to everything. Make sure to also carefully read the species board. 02. TREAT EVERYONE WITH RESPECT Everyone on this forum has a right to be respected. Don't go bashing other people's thoughts or ideas. Bullying and being rude will not be tolerated at all. 03. PROBOARDS TERMS OF SERVICE As it states in the proboards Terms of Service, everything must be kept pg-13, and you must also be at least 13 years of age to join. If it is absolutely necessary just fade to black to protect the eyes of the young. 04. ACTIVITY IS KEY We expect you to be active and inform us of any abscenses you may need to take. If you miss an activity check, your account will be suspended until you message a staff member. If you miss two, all your characters will be archived and your accounts deleted. 05. ACTIVITY CHECKS You must reply to an activity check to be considered active. However, you must also have at least one ic post a month per character to be truly marked as active. it's a fairly small thing to ask 06. LANGUAGE POLICY we're not super strict about swearing. actually, we're completely okay with it. just don't abuse this and go extremely overboard with your language. (also considering warriors have their own sort of swears, we're not going to slam down hard on this rule.) 07. WORD COUNT we do not have an enforced word count. however if we feel your posts are too short and lacking substance we may request you make them longer. |

01. ONE ACCOUNT PER CHARACTER each character you make will have it's own account, it makes organisation for yourself and us staff members so much easier. additionally, no ooc accounts are allowed for regular members and the only ones you'll see will be for the staff. 02. IN ORDER TO CREATE ANOTHER CHARACTER you must have at least 5 ic posts on your most recent character. this does not include your application, plotter, or anything of that nature. it must be actual posts using your character. 03. READ THE APPLICATION CAREFULLY also be sure to read the page of your species extremely well, as each one varies. the application is mostly self explanatory but please read it before asking any questions. 04. ONLY REALISTIC FACE CLAIMS ALLOWED we're only allowing real cats as face claims to keep the site looking proper and in order. the only accounts you will see with non-realistic face clams are those of the admins/mods. 05. PLACE ALL INFORMATION AND IMAGES IN MINI PROFILE in order to be accepted, we require your mini profile to be completed including all images of your character. this is to prevent confusion and make sure you look ready to go. 06. STAY UP TO DATE ON CLAIMS LIST make sure you know who has claimed what name, this will allow you to know if the name you were gunning for has already been snatched up. our name claim thread allows reserves for two weeks so you can ensure you get who you'd like. 07. ONE CHARACTER PER ALIGNMENT if you have multiple characters, we request that you only make one per alignment so a singular clan/group doesn't get insanely crowded. however, you are free to abandon a character and start anew. 07 1/2. ONE CHARACTER PER ALIGNMENT EXCEPTIONS however... if your cat happens to have kits you are allowed to play one of them. the other player whom you had kits with may also play one. the initial rule is just in place so people don't make a whole bunch of cats for one clan. 08. PAY ATTENTION TO THE CENSUS occasionally, if the staff decide a clan/group has a far greater number than another we may ban people from creating members of that group for a short period of time. if you try and sign up a banned group during these periods, you will be rejected swiftly. 09. WIP FRIENDLY our character board is wip friendly. you may post your character's application while you are still working on it and edit it gradually. once you're done just make sure to put it in the notification thread. 10. WIP POLICY however, if a wip has been sitting in the board for over 2 weeks and is still incomplete it will be deleted. this is to reduce clutter and ensure that you actually intend to be active. 11. AGE/TIME like in the books, characters age. every 30th of the month (or in the case of february, the 28th) your characters will age one moon. not only does this gradually affect how old your characters are, it also effects how long events may take around the site. an expectant queen will wait 2 moons for her kits to arrive, yes, we know that's not realistic but it's better than waiting forever. apprentices must wait 6 moons to become fully certified warriors, kits take a moon to become apprentices, and gatherings will take place every three moons. keep in mind, moons are literally months so your character isn't actually ageing drastically. 12. AGE PART 2 although an apprentice will be ranked up to a warrior after 6 moons pass, we want to see at least one ic training thread be completed with your mentor before this can happen. the apprentice was an apprentice to gain experience after all. |

01. WORD COUNTS we don't exactly have a word count, however, we ask you to be kind to the person threading with you and attempt to match the lengths of their posts. 02. NO GOD MODDING OR POWER PLAYING period. we get that some clans may be stronger than others at times, but this is not allowed.. if it is observed that you are acting uber a staff member will step in. 03. LIQUID TIME we run liquid time, meaning that your one character can be in as many threads in as many different places as you'd like them to be. just please keep your threads active. |
